[Factory Surcharge information: Since early 2020 when the pandemic began, and the subsequent production, parts supplier, fuel increases, and logistical challenges in transportation that happened, costs have skyrocketed, making it challenging for all manufacturers, suppliers, and dealers in final pricing. Freight costs and Fuel Surcharges continue to change monthly, so we recommend direct contact with our internet sales or on-location sales staff to get the current cost information. We NEVER charge more than what the factory charges us to our customers. No inflated fees here! You can view the current factory costs via each manufacturer's website under model details, just select the correct year and model. The great news is as of Fall 2023, most of the brands we represent are “starting” to catch up. It is estimated that all freight surcharges will be removed by 2024. So, we are getting there! Current NC Law regarding All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) states:
A) It is unlawful for any parent or legal guardian of a person less than 8 years old to knowingly permit that person to operate an ATV.
(Note: Capital Powersports adheres to NC Law regarding age requirements per each size range).
B) It is unlawful for any parent or legal guardian of a person less than 12 years old to knowingly permit that person to operate an ATV with engine capacity greater than 90cc displacement. C) It is unlawful for any parent or legal guardian of a person less than 16 years old to knowingly permit that person to operate an ATV with engine capacity greater than 90cc displacement.
